The Columbiforms is also known in Ornithology as The Columbiforms. This study will cover all the necessary parts of Ornithology in order to have a better view concerning this ordre.
Appearance and Behaviour
The order of Columbiforms includes pteroclids or gangas and raphids, that is, dodos and solitaries (birds). Unable to fly but strongly able to resist predators introduced by humans (rats and cats), raphids did not survive the massacres perpetrated in the 17th and 18th centuries on Mauritius and Reunion Island particularly.
